Although, not always... I found an elite rare spawn (Putridus the
Ancient) in Icecrown yesterday and watched a warrior die to it... soloed
it on my priest, no problem ;-) Ok, Disc spec is pretty resilient, and
yes I did have to hit pain suppression at one point, but still, was
kinda satisfying to beat something that killed a warrior (plus it's one
more marked off the Frostbitten acheivement :-))
Do agree that generally plate helps though, love soloing on a prot
pally. Haven't found DK quite so powerful yet, he does good dmg but also
takes a lot, however I'm still learning the class really and don't make
best use of my abilities.
Blood with Frost Presence the way to go; DPS, damage mitigation and
healing all at once.
