No, I meant Cheap Shot, but apparently I'm misremembering, it's been a
*long* time since my Banker, er, *Rogue*, was that level (she hit
79.75 last night, should ding 80 this week even *with* my limited play
time and connection issues). And *what* ranged weapon? IIRC, she was
about level 69 before she finally found a throwing weapon so I could
test out Deadly Throw.
Rogues can use bows and guns too, just visit a weapons trainer ;-) Or
find a friendly blacksmith to make lvl 15 throwing knives (or buy white
ones off a vendor) - doesn't matter what you use, even the throwing
knife you start with at lvl 1 will pull mobs.
I'm pretty sure I trained them, just never found one worth keeping.
And I *certainly* don't remember having a throwing knife at level 1,
unless I *did* swap it for a bow or a gun, but I was pretty sure the
ranged weapon slot was still empty until I found the vendor in
Zangermarsh.
