Disagree completely ;-) Perhaps rogues are weak when you don't know how
to play them, I dunno, but i find no problems with them, bit slow until
you get dual wield but otherwise you first hit trouble in the mid-50s;
that is the 8first( time where the mobs hit hard enough to take a fair
chunk of your health off before you can kill them. Same happens in the
mid-60s, but both times it's ok again once you gear up in proper lvl 60
or lvl 70 gear (obviously with the expansions that won't happen so much
but the new continent's gear will have the same effect).

Rogues are easy at low levels if you get slow swords/maces (at least green
from lvl 5 or so and updated frequently) or somethng like that, and you go
combat spec, if you make the mistake to start with daggers at low levels
they are really hard with lots of downtime.

Ahh, true I forgot that possibility, I've always played as combat swords
really, since I can't stand daggers for soloing. If everyone complaining
about rogues is using daggers that explains it :-)

After you can get mutilate (lvl 50 I think) then you can move away from
combat.
If someone went dagger on the first rogue ever from the start he will think
it's the hardest class of all since 1 add can mean death and doing SS with a
fast dagger is terrbible, to be remotly viable to use a dagger you need at
least kidney shot (lvl 28?) and the talents that increase backstab crit.

Yeah you're totally right there, now I think about it my first rogue
died a lot since I tried using daggers on him, all my later rogues were
swords and was fine. Just that was so long ago I'd forgotten it, over 4
years ago now!
