there is no way for me to get access to the RAF bonuses with my
existing copies?
No - RaF is when an existing account recruits a new account. If you
want to use RaF you need a new account (which would also mean an
extra TBC/WotLK).
I can afford a new set, but it's annoying to have to buy another one.
Also, what happens if I group the two linked RAF accounts with my non-
RAF account (so a group of 3 characters)? Does the whole group go onto
normal XP?
I'm not 100% certain, but I think if you have 3 accounts like this:
1) Original account, RaF linked to:
2) New account, RaF linked to 1
3) Unlinked original account
and grouped toons from all 3 accounts, then the toons on accounts
1 & 2 would get the extra XP bonus from kills, but the toon on account
3 would get nothing different to normal grouped XP.
A toon on account 1 would be eligible for the Swift Zheva mount.
For every 2 levels gained by a toon on account 2, that toon could
donate 1 free level to a toon on account 1, as long as the receiving
toon was of lower level than the donating toon.
caveat: that's how I remember the details - it's been a while since
I used my RaF, so I could have mis-remembered.
