My rogue hasn't been played in ages, and is still 69, but he is now

I've been following the advice of various sites and staying with
combat/swords until 50. They suggest that at that level, one finally has
enough points to respec and make assassination and subtlety work, so I may
now switch, as it does look like a more fun build.
few weeks. I just can't advance him any further, and I am totally
frustrated with the amount of time he spends dead, and with me having to
revive him.
Of all the classes the Rogue is the one I find impossible to progress
through the game with.
