Actually, once I get my prot warrior a tad better geared, I was figuring I might try forming groups for Archavon first runs, with the option of trying Emalon if it looks like we stand a chance. Unfortunately, I fear the players that would join such a run would be fresh 80's looking for free lootz.
But yes, overall, I agree it would have been a far better design to make them separate raids, rather than putting two very different skill/gear level bosses together.
