For my buck and a half; I have mixed feelings about the 'sell you gold
people'. Bliz's game, Bliz's rules - I can live with that . I think
its short sighted and their economy exploitation issues could be
answered from a different direction. I see no reason why Blizzard
couldn't sell gold within the game.
Your dad did prove me wrong on one aspect of this. I've always assumed
that a player who purchased gold wasn't a long term player. A gold
buyer would get bored soon enough or just move on to the next big
thing. Ouch! Lost his 'toons! - redvet, who will immediately rat you
off, if you sell gold on the Steamwheedle server
