(and even great in a bank slot) a general purpose bag usually works out
better.

My oversight, GP best, special needs bags only really needed for specific
purposes.

OTOH For banking the special bags have several uses, cheaper than
a high end slot if you don't have the cash and serve to keep things
organised by class.
and can be swapped to character as needed. So they have their place.
First major use for alts is..extra bank slots, I suppose that is why they
are BANKER alts :-)

I REALLY would like say 64 bank slots, or a shopping trolly mount, 50%
speed reduction
with 8 extra bag slots, just for bankers :-)



I love being able to just drag the whole enchanting/engineering supplies bag
to quickly collect "whatever" I may need and then being able to just as
quickly put it all back in the bank. Other professions I tend to just select
the specific mats I need, rather than the whole bag.

Herbalism bags are also great for quickly dumping all those lose herbs out
of my GP bags without making a complete mess of the bank tabs. I don't find
the mining/leatherworking ones quite as useful.

The largest size (32) slot soul bag is also nice as it matches with the
maximum number of soul shards you can carry, so you don't need to manage
your extra soul shards. Now that ammo bags / quivers are a thing of the past
this is the only special purpose bag that I carry outside the bank.

I get by with one bank alt, but he is in his own (one member) guild,
complete with guild back with four tabs. Any time I manage to fill this up I
figure it is time to clean out some of the garbage.
