?Battleground experience has arrived!
¦Players will now be awarded experience for completing objectives and
actions that yield honor in Battlegrounds (honorable kills not
included).
¦Players who do not wish to gain experience through PvP can visit
Behsten in Stormwind or Slahtz in Orgrimmar - both located near the
Battlemasters in either city - and turn off all experience accumulation
for the cost of 10 gold.
¦Disabling experience gains will prevent a player from gaining
experience through any means available in the game.
¦Players with experience gains turned off who compete in Battlegrounds
will face off only against other players with experience gains turned
off.
¦Behsten and Slahtz can reinstate experience gains for players, for a 10
gold fee of course. Any experience that would've been accumulated if
experience gains were not turned off cannot be recovered.

That's a bit odd that they'd turn off *all* experience gain. It will
enable twinks to twink themselves out more easily. Previously, they had
to be careful when running instances for twink gear otherwise they could
accidentally gain xp and ding. Now they can run all instances that they
like until they get the gear that they want. It will, possibly, make it
a bit fairer too - everyone can do this whereas before only people with
friends willing to put the effort in to boost them repeatedly could do it.

Yeah, also the separation of twinks into their own battlegrounds should
finally solves the problems of twinks v normal players, so may as well
let them twink themselves to the max i guess. I'm liking the idea tbh,
lets those who like twinking have a kinda unlimited test bed to see how
good geared they can get. Also perhaps this might lead a few more of
them to get groups instead of annoying high levels for boosts constantly
(yeah right)

¦The game now ends when one team reaches 1600 victory points, down from
2000.

This really didn't need fixing IMO. AB is a great BG and lasts the
"right" amount of time for me.

Yeah that's what I thought too.

?Eye of the Storm
¦The game now ends when one team reaches 1600 victory points, down from
2000.

Again, this didn't need fixing at all - the games aren't too long. The
imbalance between sides is a far far larger problem on our battlegroup.

This will make it even harder for Horde to win EotS on our battle group.
Because we start almost all games with fewer players than the Alliance
we start at a points disadvantage that we need to overcome. Sometimes we
do pull back to win and I'm fairly sure that we'll do it a lot less if
the length of the game was 1/5 shorter.

Ack I bet :-/

?Warsong Gulch
¦There is a now a 20 minute timer on this battleground. After that time,
the team with the most flag captures wins. If this would result in a
tie, the team that captured the first flag wins. If neither side has
captured a flag, then the game ends in a tie.

This is great. I like WSG but I don't play it so much because it can
last too long. I wonder what happens in a tie..... 1 flag each like in
the strand?

Yeah I'll play it a whole lot more now, it's fun in short games but when
it takes most of an hour for one flag to be capped, urgh.

?Silence, Strangulate, Silencing Shot, and Arcane Torrent: These
abilities will also apply a 3 second interrupt effect against non-player
controlled targets, making them more versatile against creatures immune
to silencing effects.

What's a "3 second interrupt effect" if it isn't a 3 second silence?

Silences the school but not everything. For example Shade of Aran cannot
be silenced (I believe) but can be interrupted with kick, earth shock
etc.
