Hi All
I try out many games, none of which are that much of a change, but
Spellborn is getting there. It has an interesting combat system,
which relies on setting skills up in advance so that you can click
what you need and when you need it. An unusual take, but interesting
A bit like EQ's memorizing of spells?
The character classes sound like the same old archetypes we've used
for years, but not so. I have a Rogue who chose the Skinshifter
career, where instead of Stealth as we know it, you shift shapes to
avoid aggro and scout things out. I can shift into Wolf form - fast,
other animals don't bother you, but humanoid guards get spooked and
hit you, heh. There's also another humanoid form I can shift to so I
can wander around bandit camps without aggro. There's a lot of fun to
be had just chasing newbies in Wolf form, who don't realize what's
going on. :D
That sounds good. I think that I'll start the download now. :)
