Well, Children's Week starts tomorrow AM.
One component is 'School of Hard Knocks', which is BG based.
Stupid achivement, ruined every fu.... bg i was in today... stupid thing...
they shouldnt put it in game and conect it to pvp. In every bg, there was
bunch of achivement freaks just siting in base and w8ing to do it... ofc we
lost, ofc bg lasted for 2 hours etc....
And *this* is why the achivement sucks. It's not that PVE carebears can't
do it, its that the achivement rewards people acting in a selfish way
rather than working to further the interests of the battleground raid
It should just be "Win each of the battlegrounds with your orphan out."
THAT would be a FUN achievement.
You're far from the first person to notice the problems, or suggest
But I can't see Blizzard nerfing this at this point (though they have
nerfed another achievement quest, 'Daily Chores').
For the next day or two, I'd suggest the best option is to give WSG
up to the achievers. My hope is to get a little interfaction diplomacy
going - waltz into the opposing FR with my orphan out, /wave /bow
/greet, walk to the flag, take it, drop it. Hopefully they get the
message, and after the've got the achievement, one will come over
to my FR and do the same thing.
Once all the achievers get the flag, the battle can start in ernest.
