And I'm sure that it *does* ;-) Notice they said "by vendoring", not
by reselling.
Yeah, I tried that on another server. Bought one item an sold it, made
some silver profit. Bought everything and sold it made 11 gold. Returned
later in the day, bought everything and vendored it ... lost 14 gold.
OH well.
Seriously, you are doing something badly wrong. It is absolutely 100%
impossible to lose so much as 1c if you are using the searcher for
vendoring, and then turning around and selling it to the vendor near the
mailbox.
You need to either step back, start over and figure out what you are
doing wrong, or skip this entirely and go back to normal play.
This DOES work when done correctly. The 'vendor searcher' is the most
brain-dead simple one that simply cannot go wrong, even with a sample
size of 1.
The DE searcher definitely needs volume to work, and a decent bank
account to start the process rolling. not the vendoring one though.
And btw, making 11g sounds about right. It is never a huge moneymaker,
since not many people post their stuff for less than a vendor would pay
them for it. otoh, it is so simple that it works while waiting for your
database info to build up or your bank account to get large enough to do
the heavy lifting of DE searches.
