There is an emote when it's safe to heal. You can only heal for a few
seconds every minute, and that includes ALL forms of healing. Bandaging
will not go the full amount because the last several ticks will be eaten.

It's important to note that this aura only prevents heals from
*landing*, not from being cast. I found this out on about my 5th
Loatheb attempt. I now find the most effective way to heal that fight
is to start casting a prayer of healing 2 seconds before the aura
ends, it lands pretty much at the beginning of the break, and then I
have 2+ seconds for usually 2 other spells (CoH, etc.)

Yep, best way for a priest indeed - PoH, CoH and usually by that time
you've got a surge of light to instant flash heal somebody before the
aura starts up again :-)
