Rested XP applies to gains from mob kills only. Ever point of XP you
gain from quest turn-ins pushes your rested XP out by a matching
amount. Since you likely quested most of the way from 75-80, you
didn't eat much of your rested XP. My shadow priest has been full
rested since 75, and at 78.5, I still haven't seen the end of my
rested XP indicator.
I know but 5 levels on full rest must mean 3.5 levels came from quest
turn-ins and only 1.5 levels came from kills. I find that hard the
