Re: Do you guys want to talk a bit about PVP?

I used to have fun in PVP but these days I simply can't. I know there
must be "a few" balancing issues but that can't be all: I'm playing
priest/warrior/rogue/mage/hunter at various 70-80 levels, and a
paladin in the 59 bracket, so balance is all relative, and I'm mostly
"fine" with only a fraction of classes & specs being competitively
viable.

I should be happy/eager when I queue my *insert class here* to some BG
for example... but for some reason I can't quite grasp, I'm not.

Those people who are in a similar same state of mind, Can you help me
put the right words in my mouth?

I think that PvP is something that I do when I get bored with PvE.
Before TBC came I started doing quite a bit of PvP with my Priest.
When TBC came I stopped with that and only really started playing it
seriously after I'd got 2 or 3 characters to max level. Before Wrath
hit I spent 90% of my WoW time in BGs or Arena but that all stopped
once the pre-wrath patch came. I've not been in a BG or an Arena
since.

I think that part of that is because of money. I know (from
experience) that once I start doing PvP I'll stop with PvE - I seem to
be an all-or-nothing kind of guy. PvP generates no income at all -
it's even a slight drain on funds due to bandages, health potions and
repairs. I really want my epic flyer so I doubt that I'll start with
PvP until then.

I do want to play BGs with my Death Knight because I'm a free HK for
anyone that wants it so I need to practice. I think that I have won
exactly one fair fight in world PvP and that was because I managed to
escape and could plan my attack when I came back (I ran into a dead
end and the guy was waiting with a sentry totem for when I came back
out)
