That's appalling, but not unexpected in OE I suppose. Still, I KNOW
other OE users have not had trouble. This is weird. I mean - it would be
incredibly stupid of software to break long URLs enclosed in angle
brackets which - since the 80's - has been done to ensure they DON'T
break. This is just appalling. Surely it MUST just have been that one
link.
What about the other ones in my latter posts? Did you try those? How
about this one?
<http://blog.entourage.mvps.org/2007/07/insert_urls_into_a_message.html>
(intentionally chosen - Entourage is Outlook for Mac).
That one isn't long enough to wrap.
Xymmie
So you're saying it's a combo of wrapping AND angle brackets that
buggers the URL for some?
Okay, how about this one
<http://209.85.173.132/search?q=cache:U0viHGBIkjcJ:blog.entourage.mvps.o
rg/2007/07/insert_urls_into_a_message.html+enclosing+URL+in+angle+bracke
ts&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=2&gl=nz&client=firefox-a> ?
Yeah angle brackets on a url that won't wrap anyway is fine, but put
them on a long one and it's not gonna work - that one you just linked
doesn't work here.
It did work for me when I command-clicked it as someone before me said.
I'm on a Mac (if command-click didn't give that away) and I use
MT-NewsWatcher.
