And that unless you have a *very* good sense of direction it's easy to
get lost... took me 2.5 hours to solo it at 70, not because of any

give spirit tap but otherwise wasn't too hard0 but simply because I kept
taking wrong turnings, discovering I needed to clear bits I hadn't etc
etc.

I like to do things for completion's sake. There is a Paladin quest in
there I still haven't done. I refuse to go. I was in ST once. And that
was enough for me.

It would be ridiculous for me to say that Blizzard made instances
unnecessarily complicated and twisty and turny, because I have a
terrible sense of direction. Levels on the mini-map aren't
differentiated.

My first time in Maraudon at level 70 for the achievement . . . toward
the end I was so frustrated with the size of the place I just wanted
to kill the Princess and get out. I stopped methodically clearing
trash and just ran around looking for her - if I aggroed something,
I'd deal with it then. Comparing the mini-map with an online Maraudon
map I found says she's right here. Oh. She's on another level. I don't
know where the ramp up is, so I backtrack. But I have no walk speed
increase. Whoops! It just took me 10 minutes to discover that this is
the wrong way. And another 30 minutes to finally discover the way up.

And if I ever went back to Maraudon, I'd probably never be able to
locate that ramp again.

Anyway, to the OP, I live in Canada and use a 60-day pre-paid card.
Our dollar's value to the American dollar has been all over the place
since I started playing over two years ago, but even when our dollar
was worth more than the American dollar, I was still paying $39.99 for
a 60-day card - 33% more than what Americans pay.

And I still think WoW is one of the best values around.

Is there a tendency to get annoyed when the servers screw up because I
pay for the product? Sure . . . but the last time my server went down,
a Blizzard poster replied in three minutes to a post on the CS Forums,
and the server was up in less than an hour.

I remember when I upgraded my Internet service to the best service
possible. It wasn't compatible with the ancient modem I had, so when
they "flipped the switch" at the office, I had no Internet. No problem
- they'll mail me a new modem. Except they left my apartment number
off the address slip, so the package got returned. Can't I just pick a
modem up? Nope, they have to be mailed. I didn't get the new one for
two weeks - that was 14 days without Internet. Now that's a screw-up.
