Yeah, I'm skilling enchanting up on vellums so at least my alts will get
use out of the skillups but it's slow going,

D'oh! why didn't i think of that! I've "wasted" lots of enchants
simply by re-enchanting items just to get the skill-ups.

I didn't think of vellums.

Mind you, my scribe is stuck at about 360 so I'm unable to make the
vellum III - I have no herbalists active in northrend at the moment,
so haven't got around to levelling inscription.

You should be able to learn it now, if you have a herbalist of lvl 70 or
so (or even a bit lower with care) it's possible to just run round
looking for herbs without too much trouble - I'm not levelling my druid
yet but I've been running round on him looking for herbs the last couple
of days just to make vellums :-)

Howling Fjord is a bit hard for finding them but I asked a guildie and
he suggested Dragonblight - the mobs are a touch above my level but
there's a lot of Frozen herb around
http://www.wowhead.com/?object=190173 which contain a random herb, and
it worked great for me, much faster than Fjord was anyway (although
having stealth helped me a lot to be fair) - found I could kill anything
that aggroed on me np anyway, since those herbs are mainly in the bits
with lower level mobs, max 72-73. Already herbalism 425 and I'm only 1
bar into 70 (discovery exp and about 4 mob kills on things that didn't
like me picking herbs near them) - ok I'm a tauren but still, that's not
bad going!
