Tell you what: You start paying MY $15/month for me, I'll stop whining.

I pay my subscription fee and if I wanted to PvP, I'd have rolled on a
PvP server.

Other people are having fun, even me, and I don't bother with
Blizzard's carebear, risk-free pvp, normally.

Oh, and not cost you an arm and a leg in repair bills. Then, it
might have been fun.

Arm and a leg? Outrageous? The odd gold or two is hardly a crushing
burden, which is as much as I have had to pay. Is yours higher?

I freely admit I disliked this event at first. However, I just had the most fun I've had in awhile sneaking-swimming-sprinting through the streets of Stormwind--which was in the midst of a far-reaching zombie invasion-- to get the ingredients necessary for the "touch of Zanzil" cure. I didn't get turned once. :)

I also, just for shits and giggles, started a brand new alt on a brand new realm to see if it's truly "impossible" to level in the starting areas. Not so. It's not as easy, granted, but if one times one's quest turn-ins, it's very possible to get through those initial levels. (I only went to L7; I'd been kicked off Kirin Tor with the "world server down" message, and it seemed a good way to spend my time.) The invasion adds a new dimension, certainly, but I am embracing the added difficulty.

I may not want to fight/be the scourge, but I'm perfectly willing to enjoy out-witting it.
