No matter what happens, there are always going to be cries of "class X
is too OP, nerf them." There is no way around it. Because all the
classes have different abilities, certain classes are going to be
found to have great advantages in certain situations. Druids have
shown themselves to be excellent in the arenas. Even in BG's they can
be a huge pain. I rarely do BG's but is always aggravating to DoT up
a druid only to see them throw up some HoTs, shift to travel form and
run away so I can't hit them with any nukes. That to me doesn't mean
they need to be nerfed, but I need to find a better way to kill them.
Eventually, through either nerfs to druids or buffs to other classes,
you'll start seeing a change. Who knows what WotLK will bring to the
arena. Perhaps Elemental Shaman will become the new kings of PvP.
Its really too early to say, but if it did happen, the nerfing cries
would change from druids to shaman or whoever else comes out on top.
