For all those spell casting classes who complain about resto druids
being hard to kill, please just roll a warrior or rogue.
Not a Rogue - I can't kill an equally geared druid in any reasonable
time. I can make one of two choices with respect to talents:
* I can go for a control build where I can avoid the druid kiting me
but don't have the dps to kill him
* I can go for a dps build where I have the dps to take down the druid
but can't touch him because I get kited
As a supposed
invincible healing class I was killed in about 8 seconds last night,
by a s2 geared warrior. Well, the shoulders were s2, I didn't get a
good look at the rest.
Warriors can put out some crazy burst damage. They are probably my
most feared class across all my characters.
Charge (stun), crit huge damage, crit (mace stun), runs out of melee,
intercept (stun), huge crit, another crit (mace stun), execute, dead.
I literally couldn't do anything. Rogues, your title of kings of stun
is being challenged by mace stun which procs way too often.
Yeah, that's pretty much my experience too.
If a rogue gets on me in arena they are impossible to shake if they
time their CCs with their partner.
I would agree that they are difficult to shake if they are shadowstep
rogues but they wouldn't be able to kill you quickly if they were 1v1.
Myself and a warrior just could not
beat a mage / rogue team last night. Lost to them 3 times. Too much cc
available to keep the warrior busy while they just nuked me.
I imagine that a mage / rogue team would be very difficult. The
warrior would really struggle to take out either class due to their
mobility and roots/snare and both can be on you all the time. If the
warrior goes for either the rogue or the mage then that leaves the
other one to get you with no interruptions. If the warrior goes for
the mage then the mage can still attack you whilst kiting the warrior.
I'm tired
of reading posts saying how resto druids are overpowered. Nerf rogues
and warriors! The rest are ok, except frost shock spamming shamans are
damn annoying.
Now you are doing the same as the people who are tiring you.
My experience is that Rogues aren't overpowered*. We really struggle
with a lack of burst damage or a lack of mobility - we can't have
both. We can kill cloth dps, but struggle against plate dps. We
struggle against all druids. We struggle against healers. I struggle
against hunters if they have the Beast Within talent available but
otherwise they are not a problem. Enhancement Shamans can also cause
me problems.
* I did lots of BGs at level 39 and 49 and I felt that Rogues were
overpowered at those levels. I'd honestly go into 2v1 fights and
expect to win. I'd go into 3v1 fights and expect to be able to kill 1
or maybe 2 before having to vanish.
My experience says that warriors are overpowered but I haven't
actually pvp'd with one so I'm ready to believe that they are just
hard to cope with for all the classes that I PvP with. (Rogue, Priest
and Resto Druid)
