Beat me to it - some interesting changes here, some look like looking
ahead to WotLK :-)

* Mounts at 30?! Yes, it?s true: Apprentice Riding and mounts are
now available at level 30. Training costs 35 gold.

This is a huge surprise! Can see why it's gone in, as part of the
speeding up levelling thing, as some zones in the 30s involve huge
amounts of running (hi STV, I'm looking at you, particularly in the days
when Alliance had no flightpath in the north...), but I bet there's a
few people cursing at having got to 40 and paid for it before this got
announced. My currently 32 druid may well make 40 before the patch but
I'll likely stick with travelform till the patch given the cheapness of
the skill when the patch comes.

* Blood Elf flightmasters outside of Silvermoon City and
Tranquillien have traded in their bats for glorious fire-breathing
dragonhawks.

Good good, I was surprised they hadn't already tbh!

* Spiritual Healing: Ranks 2-5 of this talent will no longer
prevent refreshing Prayer of Mending.

So *that's* what was causing it! Very very annoying glitch, glad they've
found it at last!

* Lightning Overload: This talent will no longer do excessive
damage when used with Lightning Bolt Ranks 2-10.

/cry :-P

* Curse of Shadows: This spell has been removed.
* Curse of Elements: This spell now applies to Arcane and Shadow
damage, as well as Frost and Fire.

This looks like a good change; I almost never use either of those curses
but rolling them together means there's a pretty good chance of even
5-mans having more than one person who benefits, and should always be
worth using in 10-mans now.

* Alchemy
o Philosopher?s Stone now requires 200 Alchemy.

Oh yeah. NOW you change it when I worked like mad to skill it up to 225
on my druid in time for being high enough lvl to wear it :-P

* Mining
o Green quality gems can be found in mining nodes again. The
drop rate of blue gems from mining nodes remains unchanged.

Ok, wasn't as intended as you made it out to be, eh, Blizz/ Thought
so... and about time it got reverted given uncut green gems are now
worth about double what the cut ones are...

o Mycah of Sporeggar has discovered how to create 28 slot
herb bags.

Finally! Now I don't need to bother working on Cenarion rep for the
24-slot ones ;-)

* Magister?s Terrace
o The Stun component to the Sunblade Mage Guard Glaive Throw
has been removed and the Bounce range reduced.

Every healer thanks you... and I may now get over my aversion to the
place and give it a shot on heroic for that nice trinket :-P

* The help interface has been simplified dramatically. Players will
no longer be required to select a category when opening a GM ticket. In
addition, players can use the ?Talk to a GM? button to fill out a ticket
that requires a GM response or the ?Report Issue? button to fill out a
ticket that does not require a GM response.

Very nice change indeed! I've always avoided reporting stuff because i
don't want to have to talk to a GM about something that's just a "for
your information" report rather than an actual question, but now I
probably will make some reports.

* Targeting using /target will prefer live targets over dead ones.

/cheer - nothing more annoying than trying to find a particular mob and
hitting its corpse every time you /target, even when he's on a fast
enough respawn that you know he's alive somewhere :-P

* Vendor items now show their Duration in Inventory.

Huh? Does this mean something like how long limited supply items will
stay available? or something different entirely?

* The Figurine- Seaspray Albatross ability will now properly
restore the correct amount of mana.

Surprised that wasn't fixed at the same time as Talasite Owl but hey, at
least it's fixed now - makes an awesome trinket even better :-)

Interesting changes but all look pretty good!
