Losing items in mail....

Like a lot of people, I use the mail system as a temporary
storage area.

At least twice, I've seen objects stored in mail become
inaccessible - the mail exists, but when I open it, the
object(s) aren't there. When I eventually delete the mail,
the client asks me if I really want to destroy the objects.

This seems to be related to some mail database error
messages I've seen. At least once, the error occured
when mail was stored during a system upgrade.

Anyone else have this problem?
