Leaving aside that the video card will itself get hotter, which will raise
temperatures on the whole system unless you have an isolated video card
bay, the answer is still probably yes. There's some nominal processor cost
for increasing detail, even though the video card does most of the work.
You've got plenty of headroom though.
A couple things though:
- Raise the temp cutoff in your bios to 65C. AMD chips run hot, and it's
possible that sensors could spike, resulting in a needless shutdown.
- If you use an LCD panel, don't turn on AA settings - they're pretty much
wasted. *
