I really wish people would just let natural selection take its
course. No one should ever be rewarded for doing anything stupid that

We've hit that subject in this newsgroup before. In fact, the article
linked by the OP sounds very much like a post made here by the husband
of a wife he "lost" because she played too much WoW. Same story, lost
his wife to WoW, no other information. I suspect the real reason he
lost his wife was elsewhere, and WoW was an escape for her.

In the end it comes down to the tried and true method of making
inanimate objects (can software be called an inanimate object?
Perhaps an inanimate-intangible object might fit better) scape goats
simply because it can't stand up and point out the real problems that
led to some result.

Nothig is ever your fault didnt you know that! thats what our kid are taught
in school. its what the trial lawyers spew forth late night tv. /sigh What
has been called the greatest generation, the demographic that live thru the
depression, had minimal education. no social saftey net and yet had empathy
for thier fellow man; there was a sence of community. They didnt need to be
regulated as to what is right or wrong.Morals were inate! you next door
neighbor lost his job sent over some dinner. they looked to themselves. We
need that back, and not soon enough. kids had respect for adults, no matter
who they were. some of the ppl i have run into 2 yrs of playing have NO
social skill set what so ever. maybe what the militay reinforced in me can
be instilled thru a mandatory 2 yr service. it woks for Iseral
