Well, I just did my 7th 6 months renewal of WoW.

Let's see, $ 77.94 * 7 = $545.58.  WoW cost $40 and TBC cost $40 (or
thereabouts) so, I've spent $625 on WoW.

Eek.

On the other hand, looked at hourly, that's pretty cheap.

It really is very cheap entertainment. I save a lot of money NOT buying
other games because of WoW.

Funnily enough, I just read an interesting article that reflects your
statement.http://www.stuff.co.nz/4413309a28.html

Sure, consoles have their place, but it's interesting that WoW and The Sims,
are dealing such heavy blows to their own industries.
I could chat about this subject for pages and page but I thought just post
the link first :-)

Matt

Hah yea! I actually got my WoW for 10 bucks. (Circuit City had it
onsale for 50% off normal price) and I got BC for 20 bucks (Bestbuy
had it 10 dollars off). So i'm pretty pleased so far :P
I just started getting into it, and I'm enjoying myself so far. My
girlfriend and best friend joined playing with me also and its much
more fun to play in a group than solo. We all signed up under each
other so at the first advent of us paying for our month, we all get a
free month ^_^
I'm all for saving money... I hate that wow costs 13 a month, but... I
think its worth it for the entertainment i get out of it :)- Hide quoted text -
