Now I have really screwed things up ... I bought TBC and started to
load ... I got no install choice ... just uninstall WOW.
So I thought it meant uninstall the TBC trial that I have on my HD.
It uninstalled WOW !!
Infact I can see the WOW folder and my account etc, but WOW.EXE has
gone awol.
I have a restore deleted file thingy, but it does not see it or any
part of the file.
The TBC disc now says buy WOW before loading ... which I have already
obviously. I cant face another 6hrs of updates to it.
Could I get it off my wow cd?
Anyone help ? ... Bum !!!
Can you run the "Repair WoW" and fix it that way? I've never had to
try that, but it may work.

I looked for that ... I have seen it somewhere ... cant see it now :-(
I wondered if I re installed, that it might not overwrite my account
and chars which I can still see in the foders ...
Boy do I feel an eejit !

all your account and character information is stored on their
servers... so you're in no danger of losing any of your character &
account information.
The only thing you stand to lose from a clean install are the patches
you've applied and any addon you've added to your interface folder.
Other than patches and addons you havent lost anything.
