I got my Frosty up to Lvl 4 now. ;)

I'm not sure how it is with fire spec but frost has so many good choices going up the tree right from the start that it's kind of hard to decide what you want. At the moment I'm at level 49, been frost the entire way and found it fun. I tried AoE grinding with no frostbite and full imp blizzard, but that was ain my early 30s. I can't say the XP/hour was as good as questing is (now) so I chose to go for a more 1 on 1 spec with frostbite and shatter procs. This is my current spec:

I've kinda of got a mixed bag, mostly for 1 on 1 situations to increase my survivability, not necessarily the absolute best dps. I could for example take the points out of permafrost and put them somewhere else to increase my dps, but I like permafrost for soloing. But as you can see, there are plenty of really nice talents I've missed along the way. Everything just seems so useful in the frost tree. If anyone has any improvements on my build please let me know. I play on a PvP server so I need to be able to defend myself. I solo a lot, doing quests rather than griding mobs, and I run instances.

PS. I wouldn't say Mages are incredibly easy to level, since I've experienced a hunter and a druid. Hunter speaks for itself, druid is awesome for just going and going, plus you have stealth, so for purely reaching quest objectives it's much easier than a mage who has to grind through the mobs drinking all the time hoping for no respawns.
