As much of a fan of Firefox as I am, I have to say that if a website
crashes a browser, it's the browser's fault.
If an opertating system is effected by things such as virus', spyware
and malware, crashes, freezes, gives blue screens of death it is the
fault of the operatings system.
Is that a pretty fair assesment of windows?
And don't claim that's indemmic or a charactoristic of all operating
systems because it's not..Assuming or not just using a terminal and
the usenet client you use in on your personal pc this is something you
SHOULD know.
In this case...you can't assume it's the browser, it could be a result
of a fault in a plug in, flash..java etc... or faulty programing on the
part of the website via flash, java etc.
I can very this fault occurs in not just firefox, but any unix/windows
mozilla based browsers, opera, as well in IE, using both flash for
windows and unix. The fault either lies within flash or the website
itself. I've noticed the ping times to the website seem to be lagged or
effected during the same times the browser freezing occurs...
Due to the range in browsers and platforms this ranges; it is unlikely
the cause of the fault is within the browsers; more likely a
combintation of a fault in flash and the website itself.
