That's not really relevant, because a website can say anything.

One thing jumped out at me. The vast majority of the games that are
listed in their supported list are single player games. No internet,
no long-on required for them. Just run the software from their

I don't think that matters. The point is, an application is being put onto
the PC, and from a source you have no reason to be confident in.

website, and play the games. Now, I know how to tell if a piece of
software is running on my computer or not, what it's sending over my
network and who it's sending too, what registry entries or files it's
accessing, editing or adding, etc... So that doesn't scare me all
that much.

That's provided it does things detected by current AV, or doesn't start
doing bad things at a later date after you've unblocked it.

They also posted a list of easily obtainable, sometimes freely
obtainable, well known, security software packages that have given
their software a pass, saying it's not a trojan, Malware, etc... Of

I don't think that's relevant either. AV programs work by detecting
behavior - who says the program ALWAYS acts bad? Also - generally speaking,
antivirus companies don't certify programs as safe - they mark them as
UNSAFE. Not being listed as unsafe doesn't make them safe.

course I don't believe that at face value. But if that is a lie, it's
so simple to prove a lie that it's kind of absurd to post it there,
isn't it?

Con artists love this thought process. It's how they do their thing.

Very very easy to verify. So why not at least attempt to
verify even part of what you believe, before bashing the software?

I will always bash any variation on "get paid to surf the net" type scheme,
because inherently they rip something off somewhere.

Just by looking at the site you can tell pretty easily that it's not a
one man show.

Oh, come on!

So if I have the time this weekend, I'm going to try it with a bunch
of the single player games on their list that I have. If it turns out
to be false information on the sites part and my registry loggers,
firewall and network monitors are throwing up red flags everywhere I
will come here and eat crow and apologize to you.

Knock yourself out. *

This is honestly a thoughtless, cookie cutter response. There are
several points you make that you could basically say about ANYTHING
out there. So World of Warcraft- well whats to say its safe NOW but
won't do harmful things in the future? I mean come on- come out with
something better than that.

If you don't trust Anti Spyware, Malware, AntiVirus, and network
sniffers to determine what a piece of software is doing- then you have
come to a simple conclusion- You should lock yourself in a log cabin
and stay far away from technology- or your paranoia will get the best
of you.

In case you haven't noticed, the web has evolved in a true user
experience, feedback driven mechanism. If I want to find out about
something, first I will at the VERY least find out what a google
search will do for me. Granted, sometimes there are scams out there
that can easily flood the net with template driven sites with fake
content on them supporting an idea. If you spent some of your time
actually doing a gogle search about JACT.com instead of making generic
posts in this thread about the web site, you will find that the google
results for jact.com CLEARLY could not have been fabricated. They are
being talked about on dozens of forums from dozens of different
people. Those who make general statements about new ideas without
having any true knowledge of the idea look foolish.

You mentioned "get paid to surf the net" yet the site has nothing to
do with that. That shows you are speaking without any research to
back your statements up. Yes, there are scams out there. Yes,
malicous people do make keyloggers. Yes, people can make web sites
quickly and easily. The bottom line is that after doing some
research- it would be a huge waste of time to make something as
intricate as what I am seeing for it to simply be a "quick scam"///

****I am still looking at the Eamonn program on my isolated PC setup,
I wil let you guys know what i find.......
