Re: Performance issues

My addons memory used is normally 25-35MB, with 3Gb of RAM that shouldn't
be a problem, should it? I'd rather not replace the PC just yet, it's not
that old and I'd think its spec should still be ok, just wondering what I
can do to improve performance a bit? I know I can turn graphics even
further down but it used to work fine as it's set up now :-/

Open up the task manager (CTRL-ALT-DEL) and see what, if anything, is
consuming CPU. Also have a look at things like your Virus checker if it is
running. I found McAfee to cause a fair amount of performance issues and
switched to NOD32 a year or two ago.

Finally, you could consider upgrading your video adapter. I recently upgraded
to an 8800GTS that reports (via benchmarks), 5 times the performance of my
old Radeon X800XT.

In your case, I think RAM is not an issue. 3 GB is more than enough.
