I have my ATI graphics card drivers set to use the second core. WoW in the first core.

Now IF WoW uses 50% of each dual core (which imho i doubt), then maybe I should see a
larger % of cpu usage in the second core huh. Don't know for sure. I do see faster game
play more fps when I have the ATI card set to use the second core though.

I make sure my anti-virus is 'disabled and ad-aware is shut off. Lots of background
programs could be temporarily bogging you down like the other messages in this thread
indicate. Lots of 'programs' auto running out on the internet from your PC to check for
updates - stuff like that.
I have all the Bliz background download stuff shut off.
