A better question would be: How much latency do you expect to have between
your computer and the SG: Atlantis warcraft server located in the Pegasus
galaxy?

My friend, who plays WoW and also watches Stargate Atlantis tells me
they have mentioned Warcraft 3 times at least, now. I would think
that the WoW fans in the other galaxy are running a private server,
since they are all but cut off from Earth - I hope Blizzard doesn't
find out, heh. Then again, they'd have a long way to go to serve a
writ!

You can Google the references and watch YouTube clips of them, but in
essence the first time (?) it got mentioned, it went like this (slight
cut and paste):

In one episode, a geeky tech is distracted away from a terminal (the
good guys wanted to do a bit of sneaky keyboard work) by the female
leader of the base. One of the geek scientists mentions that his
favourite game is World of Warcraft. He says he's a level 75 mage and
his professions are engineering and jewelcrafting. He said he had a
head start by getting into the beta. The female leader is lying
(trying to distract him longer) and says she's only level 50.

The nerd guy goes: oh what race? girl: "uhhh mage" nerd guy: "Oh, I'm
trying to increase my enchanter skill but it's not going very well"
