2) Why do people keep challenging me to duels when I haven't even been
talking to them? I am not flagged for PvP, and since I am on a RP
server I feel people should only challenge me if they have a RP-related
reason to do so.
Because many people don't get much of a thrill out of killing
computer-controller monsters. It's repetitive and, for some people,
not very rewarding. Duels aren't my thing personally, but for some
people it gives them practice in honing their skills, probably for
later action in battlegrounds.
If you primarily get your thrills out of killing computer-controlled
monsters, that's cool, just decline the duels and don't PvP.
4) How do you earn money in the game? The quest rewards are paltry,
and my poor druid is always broke.
Sell EVERYTHING you loot. Grey items, white items, green items. All of it.
Don't ever destroy anything. Sell your green items on the auction house.
Sell ALL cloth on the auction house. Believe it or not, a stack of
20 wool cloth goes for almost 2 gold on our server. While leveling,
you can easily make 50 gold just selling the wool cloth you find.
Did I mention that you should sell everything? :)
5) I just joined a guild and I asked for a tabard. The reaction was,
oh, do you want one? Is it a really noob thing to want to wear your
guild tabard? I notice very few people display theirs.
Tabards are fairly pointless other than maybe for those people who
get a kick out fashion-plates or like to role-play in small guilds.
