alliance vs horde -- your preference?

I am almost 60 with my horde belf paladin now, and thus I feel i can
finally offer a personal opinion on a "Alliance" vs "Horde" character
experience. I have read numerous times online that Horde offers a more
mature and interesting roleplaying experience, especially from a lore
perspective -- I'm not convinced this is true to be honest.

Here's my opinions so far. Feel free to comment/refute/offer
alternatives.

Pros of Alliance
- Relatively gank-free leveling: Dun Morogh/Loch Modan, Teldrassil/
Darkshore, and Stormwind/Westfall are relatively removed from Horde
zones and offer save leveling up to 20
- Some really cool racial abilites: Dwarves get Stoneform and Dwarf/
Dranaei priests get Fear Ward, Rep Bonus for Humans, Nightelves get
Shadowform (nice boost for rogues)

Alliance get some of the best faction specific quest chains in the
game, which I do not think have equivalents on the Horde side:
- Deadmines > Ragefire Chasm, Wailing Chasm
- Redridge zone > Stonetalon Mountains zone
- Legend of Stalvan
- The Missing Diplomat
- Gnomeregan (yes I like this instance, especially lore wise)
- The alliance Onyxia attunement chain is easier and more interesting
- Blightcaller (kill him)
- History of the Moonkin
- Helicopter summoning in Azshara

Pros of Horde:
- Blood Elf start zones are the best in the game, including the
initial quests
- Optimised leveling chains in Kalimdor
- Tauren make the best warriors in the game, Blood Elf arcane torrent
ability is almost unbalanced its so good for leveling
- More dark humour, sarcastic NPCs

Horde quest chains are interesting, but IMHO not as involved or deep:
- Warlocks in Ragefire chasm, Undead plague elixir quest chains are
interesting lore wise
- Tarren Mill > Southshore quests (but barely)
- Best fishing rod pre-Outlands is horde only quest
- Shadowfang Keep, RFD and RFK tend to be horde specific instances and
are mainly bypassed by alliance (aside from SFK they're not missing
much IMHO!)
- Undead City is close to Scarlet Monestary, which is preferred 35-40
instance for both factions

So having leveled a dwarf hunter to 70, and a belf paladin to 60 at
this moment -- with alot of alts 20-40 -- I think I prefer Alliance
more than Horde at this point. Certainly alot of the Alliance quest
chains are more memorable to me than Horde.

My paladin is my new main, however, and she's going straight to 70 and
Karazhan, so its kind of an academic assessment. Just thought I'd
share my findings with the group and promote some discussion.
