My wife was telling me about a very irritating scenario that happened
to her yesterday. Her rogue is level 70 and was in Nagrand farming
fire motes from the fire elementals someplace - she said the
elementals were level 70 and 71. (Is Nagrand right?) She said there
was also a level 70 mage there appeared to be farming. The mage began
to pick off the elementals before my wife could hit them so my wife
ran her rogue off to throw at another one away from the mage and the
mage sent a bolt past her and aggroed the elemental before my wife
could get a throw in and the elemental charged the mage. The mage had
5 on her. Needless to say my wife was pretty pissed off and just took
off and left the area figuring that it was going to be pointless to
keep trying to get the elementals when the mage was stealing them all.
She asked me if it could have been a bot. I said not likely.

But I told her to tell me the name of the mage if she sees her there
again because if I am ever in the area and I see that mage there I am
going to send my hunter in with her fire resistant pet and steal as
much of the elementals as I can from that mage. I know I won't get
them all but I figure that no bad deed against my wife should go
unpunished with some type of "payback's a bitch" you baitch!!!

Talk about rude!!

I find some Mages and some Hunters extremely bad for this in the Plateau.
I get 'greedy' sometimes and take 2 - one with my elemental every 3 minutes.
But I DO race to grab a kill at times using a combination of Blink, my mount
and Ice Lance but it's fair game.
I don't usually take more than 1 at a time (sans when using Elemental) so
whatever anyone else wants to go for is wide open.
