I can tell you this - I used my ring of blood weapon until 70, when I
switched to a continuum blade after getting revered with keepers of time.
Just this week that's been replaced with the totally outrageous Staff of
Infinite Mysteries: <http://thottbot.com/i28633>.

I know several druids still using their staff of beasts at 70, so yeah,
you won't find a replacement very soon. There's apparently a buyable epic
that a lot of them pick up on the AH, which I believe is the only better
druid item not from raiding or arena. *
