14 attack power = 1 damage per second. So if your weapon speed is 3.0,
14 attack power will add 3 points of damage to each hit. Savagery
enchant will add 70 attack power, 5 DPS, i.e. 15 points of damage per
hit if the weapon speed is 3.0, or more if the weapon is slower.
Superior impact enchant only adds 9 points of damage per hit, so
savagery enchant is much better.

Attack power also affects some special attacks, but that depends on
your class.
