On a PvP realm, you can't play the opposite faction, and on a different

If you change faction the choice of realm doesn't matter,
you'll start out broke on both PVP and PVE. Starting
out broke is not a burden either, though it will frustrate
the people used to twinking themselves.
Have you played several characters to 60/70? The first time grinding
for bags and mounts is kind of fun, but not after that. It's a long
slow grind by design and many of us want the fun of leveling up a new
character and experiencing end game content and PvP but *not* the
feels-like-a-job pain and toil of grinding for yet another mount and
full set of bags, and not the humiliating loserness of buying from a
gold-seller website. So the answer there is simple: Stick with your
current server and donate 200g or so from your own high level characters.
