You can also just copy the Wow folder from the laptop to the desktop computer,
if you have a network or an external hard drive to facilitate the move. Blizzard didn't use
any registry entries so installation from scratch is unnecessary. Plus, you'd have to
download and install recent patches and your mods if you installed from the original CDs
