A simple change from 58 to 61 to access the portal would've really
helped to keep the old content alive.
Then how would anybody ever access outland? Some of us had our level 60's
*forever*. I had (believe it or not) actually completed every single quest
available in the game on my human rogue, with the only exception being the
"quests" to obtain tier3 pieces (req a BoP epic token from a naxx boss and
an armload of expensive trade goods), and 4 of the 5 tier2.5 piece quests
(did do the shoulders one), and the AQ40 weapon quest.
I would have had absolutely no quests available to do and thus would have
been stuck at 60 unless I spent 16 years grinding on level 58 world mobs in
EPL or silithus for paltry xp.
