Not only will it take advantage of directX 10 but also dual and quad core
processors

Thanks, but no thanks. Upgrading 5 computers to vista from XP is not worth
it IMO. An upgraded interface isn't enough reason, and XP runs fine on dual
and quad core processors. I'll just keep XP until MS quits supporting it. By
then Linux will become my OS of choice. Bill Gates already has enough of my
hard earned dollars.

Agreed on waiting to upgrade from XP to Vista. It's great for newly
built machines. It's not bad for older systems either, but probably
not worth the cash outlay.

On a side note, I'd rather Mr. Gates gets my money than the frickin
Linux hippies. At least Gates donates generously to the United Way.
The only thing the Linux crowd does is promote a socialistic viewpoint
that nobody's work is worth paying for. There are much better variants
of UNIX out there, you just have to open your eyes a bit, along with
your wallet.

Your opinion may, and likely will, vary.
