Oh yes they sell! On the Arygos server, I consistently sell copper
ore for 90s per stack of 20, tin ore for about double that at least.
You need to check the auction house and see what the current market
value is on your server, and don't get too greedy with your pricing.
I usually save up my ore and skins till Friday evening and put them on
the ah for 24 hours, reasonably priced. I typically put copper ore up
at 50s starting bid, and 90s - 1g buyout. I got a Jade gem for the
first time the other day while mining (silver I think) and sold the
one gem for 90s.

Is it better to sell tin alone rather than smelt bronze?

I should know this answer myself, but I seem to just, by default, smelt
bronze when I get some tin.

I'm on the Nordrassil server, and the prices for copper bars aren't quite
that high, generally speaking, but they're good.
