Just so you know - once you reach honored with the violet eye (which
doesn't take long), the blacksmith behind Attumen can be used for repairs.
You need to clear one group of smiths after Attumen, or wait for a soft
reset so they despawn. Much later on in the instance, there's an etheral
who can also be used for repairing.
My suggestion would be to stay on the ground floor until most of you are at
honored. Attumen and the beast boss (there are 3 - each reset gets one of
them at random) will get you a lot of rep quick, and then you'll all have
an epic ring and several decent drops, and you'll be ready to gie Moroes
and the Maiden a better run. Moroes is all about crowd control and
healing - you want some priests for shackling, and/or a survival hunter
who's good at setting traps.
I have this wacky theory that if you run around (i.e. don't stand in one
place) while Moroes is vanished, that you won't be hit with the garrote. So
far, three kills where I ran around I never got one, and the one time I
decided to nuke from one place I got it. Being near the far right of the
room especially seems to work - he's always reappeared before he gets
anywhere near me. *
