With that option turned on, can you still choose what to loot, say by
shift-clicking, or do you always have to loot all ?
Yes
Right-Click: auto loot
Shift-Right-Click: non-auto loot to select
Basically, it just reverts the two modi.
That's good to know. I think I'll give it a try.
I've stayed away from autoloot because I find my bags get filled up so
quickly from garbage. Just a question, the time you save autolooting,
do you lose it again trying to decide what to throw out when your bags
become full? (Obviously I'm talking about when you're out grinding or
questing and can't return to a vendor easily).
Very probably. But for me it' not the total time, it's /when/ the time is
spent. My bags always seem to fill up when away questing. Esp in an
instance, even when I try picking out things I want. I'd rather spend the
time a bit later - a safe patch between battles - and have a clear out,
than /have/ to do it right when I'm looting, when I might be in a bit of a
hurry.
