I restarted a paladin as a warrior once, since I wanted
something "easier" to play. But I only got him up to
level 17 before giving up and going back to paladin.
At that level, the gear is really average (especially
without twink money). The simplest of quests were
driving me nuts, and bears were slapping me down
easily. I could easily solo any one of them, but when
the battle was over my health would always be low and
I'd be easy pickings for anything that wandered near.
The snag, especially at low levels, is that I had to
take damage before most special abilities can be used.
I wouldn't mind trying one again, now that I know more
about the game. But the differences would be that I
would try to have a friend I could group with quite a
lot, and maybe send a bunch of starting money.
