Not sure I understood everything you wrote, but if you are asking whether
to be a priest, mage or hunter is not easy to answer, but look up the
descriptions at wowwiki and see what suits you more:

In summary as I see it:

-Hunter
Best solo class, but you pay the penalty that you are not that wanted in
groups, there are lots of other hunters so it may be hard to find a good
guild for you as well. If you are a loner perhaps hunters are for you. A
lot of people also think of hunters as a "noob"-class so don't be
surprised
if people think of you as a newbie if you roll hunter (but well-played
hunters require just as much tactics as other classes, it´s just that they
can be played easy-mode with auto-shoot and beast-master specced that
gives
people the assumption that they are always easy to play).

-Priest
I think you asked for PvP as well. Shadow-priests are known to be very
good
at PvP. You will be able to solo ok, and you will be very much wanted for
groups because of your healing abilities.

-Mage
If you like high numbers when you do damage a mage is not a bad choice :)
You will be able to solo fine, you will have a decent chance to find
groups
for dungeons. And people will keep begging you to make them water and
food.

Oh and don't forget the portals! The whispers for those never end if you sit
in a big city too long!
