This is quite a different animal from honor rank rewards. I understand
and accept (reluctantly) that by the time the expansion hits,
my warrior's rank will probably have decayed from rank 10 to 1
and in order to wear the new level 70 PVP rare set, I will have
to re-grind honor. How they handle reputation rewards will
be interesting.
The PvP honor system in BC is going to do away with the current honor
ranks. Instead, you'll earn "points" by PvPing, which don't decay and
which can be spent on items.
Don't know what they'll do about the faction rewards, but it wouldn't
surpise me if they did away with those entirely and just moved
everything over to this point system.
