I would say no because:
1. You have a Celeron CPU. That's like a slimmed down regular Pentium.
Plus, it's only 1.5GHz. That's about the bottom end today of what I would
want to play any game, much less one as graphically intensive as WoW.
It's a celeron M, not a celeron. ths built on the Pentium M architecture,
but with have the cache of a P-M. TBH, I'm not worried about the
performance of the CPU.
2. You only have 256MB of RAM. That's barely enough to keep Windows XP
running smoothly.
Indeed, hence my comment about crucial.com
3. You have an Intel graphics card. They suck for gaming. Plus, it
only has 64MB of RAM and it's *shared* meaning you have even less system
RAM available for WoW.
Yup, it's the intel gfx card that I'm really worried about.
What I'm looking for is a way to avoid the hardware T&L requirement.
4. It's a laptop and most laptop's make crappy gaming machines due to
the heat generated.
I beg to differ. Pentium based laptops are appalling when it comes to
heat generation, however, P-M based ones are fine.
My main laptop (2ghz P-M, 256mb x700) runs wow at the max framerate of the
tft (60hz) no matter what is happening on screen. And that's with the CPU
throttled a bit.
Cheers
