One thing I've noticed whenever I make a new char (and granted
the data points are *all* in Deathknell) is that the starting area
seems "faster". By that I mean that it feels like my toon is
*cruising* everywhere. Play just seems generally quicker, spells
seem like they cast faster, movement seems quicker, etc.
Is that just some illusion on my part, or is there actually something
to this?
The answer to this one is so obvious, it's hard to believe you're not
trolling or otherwise pulling our legs. The more you play WoW, the
more experienced you get at everything in the game, the easier it
seems to be when you go back and start a toon in the newbie areas.
You're more coordinated at movement, attacks, spells, knowing all
the quests and what to expect, where every mob is, where the differ-
ent types of mobs can be found, everything. Of course it gets easier
and faster every time. Put Lance Armstrong on a bike with training
wheels in the playground, and he'd probably make the same obser-
vation.
